Below is a vox pop that I made recently for Youth Group. The series is called “What Do You Mean?” and is looking at a number of words in the Christian faith that are hard to understand. Other words we have looked at have included justification and atonement.
The vox pop on sin asks two questions
- What does the word sin mean?
- Can you use sin in a sentence?
If you would like to use this vox pop for your own group or would like to use the title, please contact me and I’ll get the file to you somehow.
This video is another one in 720p HD. With the ease of use of HD video, most of the videos that I do from now on will be in 720p HD. Longer upload time but will look sweet on your widescreen monitors. If you have any advice for me on how to make my videos better, please do suggest it to me (through contacting me or the comments below).
This post has none like it at calumhenderson.com
Hi Calum – great idea and good video. If you don’t mind, I would like to use it for a year 8 lesson next week we will be doing on sin – I think it will make a nice intro. Can you send me the YouTube link?
Yeah sure, the YouTube link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRKn4HqChcA and you can then download the video at keepvid.com. I give you permission to do so.
Let me know if you have any issues. Glad that I can help!
This video doesn’t really say what sin is though…
Hi James,
Thanks for your comment. It is completely true, the video does not explain what sin is. That is not the purpose of the video. This video was made to go before a talk as an introduction to sin with the purpose of creating interest and starting the thinking about sin, sorry if I didn’t make that clear in the blog post.
Calum
I’ve bookmarked this because I found it funny. I would be very interested to hear more info on this. Excellent!
