9 Memorable Youth Group Games To Help Memorise The Bible

Remember

Memorising the Bible is a really awesome habit to get into. And I think it is a great thing that we can teach younger Christians to do. So that they can get some Bible into their minds, and get into the habit of memorising it.

These games are designed to help younger Christians (or older ones) memorise parts of the Bible. These games do not have a number of people next to them, as they could be suited to any number, or modified for a large group or a small Bible study. Some of these games would be more appropriate for younger kids, but some would be appropriate for all ages, you can be the judge for your group. Below is the list of games, and read below the break for a detailed description of each game.

  1. Cut Up Bible Verse In Balloons
  2. Bible Verse Amazing Race
  3. Erase The Words
  4. Bible Verse Relay
  5. B-I-N-G-* (That’s a clap)
  6. Bible Jigsaw
  7. Bible Verse Song
  8. Action Words
  9. SMS Memory

Also, if you want to see all of the Tweets from KYCK, then go to this post by Dave Miers to see a list of all Tweets coming from KYCK.

Below is the advertising video for KYCK this year, and below that is a video I made reviewing KYCK from our youth group a few years ago.

KYCK is always a great weekend when thousands of young people are challenged by the gospel, the Christian message. Please join us in prayer, and if you haven’t been challenged yet, then read this.

God is Working!

This past week has been an extremely full on experience.row of books

As I have written previous, I was leading on a Crusader HSC Study Camp. There were 97 students on the camp as well as the leaders, and it was great to see God working through the lives of people on this camp.

God blessed this camp amazingly and 2 campers came into a relationship with God!

I am so thankful for the part that God allowed me to play in this and I look forward to hearing about God working in their lives. We have an amazing God who is at work in this world, people’s lives are changing and God is working through his Spirit.

I pray that God will continue to work in his world.
